Campaign “Food for babies!” is a donation campaign aimed at providing suitable food for children aged 0-3 years. Many families have been severely affected by the state of emergency imposed on March 13th to curb the spread of COVID 19. Due to physical isolation measures, thousands have lost their income and are facing a real threat of starvation. Particularly affected are families with children from 0 to 3 years of age, who daily need adapted milk, children purees and other baby foods. The efforts of the state have so far been limited to providing nutritional support mainly to single elderly people, people with disabilities, families with registered status as poor. However, the youngest children remain outside the scope of this support because donated food packages do not contain age-appropriate foods. “Food for babies!” campaign will support families left without income as a result of the emergency situation; families who find it difficult to provide adequate food for their children aged 0 – 3 years. Any natural or legal person who wishes and has the opportunity can donate funds that will buy only food suitable for children from 0 to 3 years of age – adapted milk, baby purees and mashes. If desired, donors may also provide suitable infant food, with unopened commercial packaging, and within the shelf life. Integro Association provides BGN 1000 for the “Food for babies!” campaign. Let us be in solidarity in the difficult times! Take part in the “Food for babies!” The donation campaign will continue until the emergency situation the Republic of Bulgaria is lifted.
